Well done to you Carol as well you were wonderful despite being in a lot of (obvious) pain.



Thanks especially to the hosts Marie and Vic and to Irene who only landed 3 weeks ago for selling the raffle tickets despite not knowing anyone.

Yes, it was a most enjoyable afternoon/evening. Nice meeting old friends and new. Maria and Vic you did a really grand job, also Lee. Maria you have more guts than I ever would have by having your head shaved

in front of everybody. As Sam said, it really suits you. Maybe you will start a new fashion!!!!

Let`s hope little Ismail comes back from Turkey with some good news.

i Enjoyed every minute of my short stay, lovely to see old friends. My god Maria how many were you feeding, i have never seen so much food, and thank you for my doggy bag. Im eating one of your delicious sausages as we speak. Maria you are truely a star and a great person. I saw the photographer arrive just as we were leaving. Well done both of you.I only regret having to leave early to work, would have loved to see the new look spider. imagine a spider with no hair x

So many lovley thoughtful people, (but you didn,t eat enough) bet you where thinking today, wish i'd had some more.



But it was sooooooo hot.



Jan and I will go to Ercan Fri. to see Ismail and his family off, and also give them some funds.



We are not sure how long they will be in Istanbul, But rest assured with what you have all done hopefully we can make this dreadful time for the family, a little easier.



Thank you Spider for yesterday, just think how much time you will save now drying and messing about with your hair.

Maria I know TopTen has thanked you on another thread but I like to put my two penneth in. Sandra, Cathy, Jed, Ken and myself had a fantastic time and were made to feel welcome, you Maria made time to come around and chat to everyone which was appreciated.

Well done to you and Mr Spider we were only going to stay a couple of hours - we arrived at 3.30 and went home at 8.45 best 2 hours!!!!!!

Paul you must be kidding..to most ladies their hair is very important..But for me I now feel quite liberated without hair..everyone says it suits me just my grand children who have had the most fright ))

I have no idea how to post a link but maybe Carol can take my photos from facebook and post a few on here, I have been unable to see the videos that Daisy has posted as you know you tube is blocked over here, Mr Spider thought he had record set on the camera and stood there taking ziltch..so all ! ) the things that happen when your nr got dementia )
