In the Kibris paper today they think they have caught the Catalkoy burglars. They have owned up to 8 offences and the police are investigating more.They were living in the village themselves and aroused suspicion in Lemar by spending a lot more than usual on their shopping so the police were called Well done everyone.

Maybe but they are main landers. Its good the girls in Lemar Karakum must be on the ball. They normally buy bread and cigs and suddenly alcohol and meat every day

how they made the connection to the burglaries is a leap of faith.

Thats what the newspaer report said . If you are not a burglar then dont worry. They have been shopping in that store for a while and never spent a lot before.

Dixie, if you look into it you may find that life in the Lefkosa nick isn't that easy .

Don't make the mistake of equating Cypriot justice with UK justice - convicted felons here don't have any human rights.

The bank manager that helped himself to a mortgage on our property, but fortunately later repaid it, got arrested recently for other [alleged scams]. It cost us three grand to chase him and our advocate advised that we would never see that money back.



How I'd like to meet that barsteward on a dark night...........he'd need to take out another mortgage [somewhere else] for his dentist's bill!
