Wanting to buy 2 ATV's in North Cyprus

Hello Group, first of all: It's Heiko & Natalya, we're both new arrivals in Esentepe, 43/33 yo.

We're now looking for 2 atv's (or Quads) to buy, 250-400cc, can be second hand but should be in a good condition. We do have a few quotations, but just wondering if there is more out there.

We'll be here for another 2 1/2 weeks for now, so quick is good ;)

Welcome to Cyprus 44. There is a shop in Girne that sells them just before the Colony Hotel on the same side. (left)

There used to be restrictions on foreigners riding them, but not owning them.



Also, you have to have a special driving licence for them - I heard it was a farm tractor licence, which only Cypriots could apply for.



I sincerely hope I am wrong about the above, and maybe the law has now changed, but I seriously suggest you check this out thoroughly with the local traffic police before racing down to the quad shop and parting with your money!
