Following the recent announcement of a Government crackdown on expat entertainers without work permits, Barry “Snakes” a local singer come guitarist has decided to single-handedly and publicly take on the might of the TRNC Government and according to him, has taken the fight directly to the Minister of the Interior

Whilst I feel that I or Barry do not have to keep justifying ourselves, Barry will be performing on Friday and Saturday this week, all above board, this I can assure you. If anyone wants to come along then please do. For those who constantly criticise Barry and his performance, it may be best that you stay away. I was told by my dear late Grandmother, if you cannot say anything nice about about someone, best not to say anything at all.

he was be in a rock group pearl not sure if he had a work permit or not he was founder of the internet club and I KNOW they did not have an isp licence from the government.

to be honest,i find all this writing and back stabbing quite dreadful,maybe if you knew barry as ive come to know him over the last year,you would not be so vicious and spiteful in your words and the letter you wrote in the free press is to be honest a right load of bollox,do we really want to see empty bars,do we really want to have to just sit in empty bars?was there any need for that article in the free press? or was it just for your own esteam?

Should we all not be behind him and not putting up obsticles and questioning all he is trying to do?
