Wine is wet and alcoholic. I am told that it is kept in the "kitchen", whatever that is. All I know is that Mrs Vince goes and fills up my glass for me. Amazing what you can teach little women to do......

coache if you are a wine buff you would not buy Cyprus wine however when the sun shines and the white wines are chilled or the reds at the correct temperature just enjoy them as they are.

I agree with Mr Vince - "Wine is wet and alcoholic". If I like the taste and costs 5ytl that is fine by me. As for the initial question, you may need to be more specific. If you are a wine "snob" and go by names you can probably get some here at a price. As I go on price - cheap - I do not really look but there are plenty of Old & New World bottles on display. Like anywhere else, if you buy in a restaurant or bar you will pay several times the supermarket price.

To answer the original question you can get wine in all the supermarkets , generally the Cyprus are not very good so go for Turkish wine (Angora or Villa Doluca), the quality has improved over the years. Sometimes the supermarkets will have on offer wines such as Blossom Hill so if you like these just look out for them you maybe lucky

Wine throughout the world is mostly the same. What tasted fabulous on holiday, tastes rubbish if you bring some home!

I like paint stripper, second only to Meths. Get some funny looks when you buy it by the crate though. People think that Aphrodite sold here is TC wine. The red comes from Bulgaria. Taking into account transport costs etc 4.75ytl per bottle is good value especially the dual purpose it can be put to!!!!!!

CiH: "I like paint stripper." Aftershave should never be underrated in a competitive market.
