| If after vacing and you have backwashed and you turn your pump back on, and dirt comes out from the jets my guess would be its time to change your sand, if you have just changed your sand then I would look at the gasket that goes between the top of the filter and the base unit if that is torn you will have dirt and sand slipping through. or maybe a problem with your multiport valve, maybe dirt stuck some where. with out seeing it youll have to do it by elimination. |

| Spider, is the dirt pluming back in whilst you are using the vacuum ? I had that problem for months in spite of fresh sand of the right grades, functioning valve, and OK seals. The pluming was dirt of a very fine nature. When I switched to zerochlor, which evidently has flockulent properties, the problem ceased immediately. I do hope you soon cure the problem as I know just how frustrating it can be to waste so much water and electricity, and still not have a pool as clear as your efforts deserve. |
