When im over in Sept/Oct i'd like to pop over to Turkey on a day trip, does anyone know the cost and can u take your hire car with you?

| Day trip not possible. You need to do an overnight stay.
Can't take TRNC hire car to mainland, but you can hire in Tasucu.

| Cost is 114TL return, plus about 40TL in port taxes that payable on departing and return.
Book through any travel agent. |

| you say Turley but everyone has mentioned Tasucusu which l would not recommend for a trip as if you want to get anywhere it will take you at least 5 hours by car over the mountains.
You can go to Antalya which of course the trip is a lot more nicer but no car. Take option 2 for we have done option and would not do it again |

| Yes, I must agree.....Ferry across is absolutely awful !! Well it was when we came across 2 years ago.
I would NEVER use it again!!
Smelly and dirty....don't even mention the toilets!! I think that is enough. |
