We live in Karsiyaka and over the last few weeks we have been invaded by small black beatles. They are capable of flying but tend to land in our back porch area and/or kitchen where they crawl about. They 'play dead' but if they are touched they run very quickly away. Stamping on them is very effective. Has anyone experience of these little buggers and how to dealwith them. Would appreciate any bright ideas. Must have killed 100 tonight which is slightly more than usual. Oddly friends in Lapta - not far away - have no knowledge of them.

Gooligan; that's a bright idea. Perhaps I'll send round to you. You can entertain them.

We also have them in Yesiltepe. We have a few of the Kill Pest machines (infrared used a lot in butchers in UK) and if anything gets attracted to them they get zapped. The beetles crack like fireworks and moths and mozzies etc sizzle best money we ever spent and has definitely helped with being 'bitten'

The 'Beatles' have come to play in your backyard - I sincerely hope they've got a work permit, or you'll be fined!

We also live in Karsiyaka and have been visited !! by these beetles for the last 4 days no idea how to get rid other than stamp on them, they can fly although seem to run rather than fly away. As yet they don't seem to do any damage. By the way we have sliding doors and the little bleeders can get in through the runners.

decanddyl/Msg 10: Spray cockroach aerosol spray in and around the runners and frames - that'll stop the little bleeders 'swearing in church' - and coming in!
