Fire at Stanstead airport carpark

If any one parked there car in Zone E carpark at Stanstead airpor,t just heard on the BBC news, a fire broke out in this zone and some cars were damaged. The airport are offering free taxis in order to help anyone who will be stranded .

And 40% off a hire car!! Free taxi /40% car???

Also saying it will be a huge problem for the 20 or so car owners who had their cars destroyed to claim from their insurance.

Car park continually watched by CCTV; but the airport are saying they will not be able to pinpoint the car with the electrical fault that started the fire, that was fanned by high winds.

Hi surely Zone E is a short stay car park? Therefore unlikely to be anybody here with a car parked there unless they were expecting to pay more than the cost of their flight in car park fees.

The paper says it was Zone C and displays the burnt out cars.
