Use a submersible pump to empty the water onto your garden (if you've got one). We have just done this for a friend and their plants are very very happy!

Hi Brandy sour, from what i'm led to belive, it's still cleanable, even if it looks like pea soup. Apparantly it can be cleaned over a threeday period. John.

The pool that brandy sour is referring to has had chemicals added to it, this was some weeks ago. There is no garden to pump the water onto just block paving or the street. Is a pump still a good idea?

Perhaps by my mentioning someone may think of one. There are water disposal companies, they do cleaning of septic tanks etc. They would take it, for a fee of course. I am sure TRNC Vaughan would be able to help either answering this or you e-mail from this BB. He is in pool business.

i am just glad i am not living in my apartment at the moment i just feel so sorry for the people who have no choice but to look at that pool every day and think we have thrown so much money down the drain at this complex and nobody seems interested even the people who sold the dam thing to you as long as they get their money

run a extension lead and wire temporarily to the pump and pump out? Pump to drains/septic tank if you can get a pool vacuum hose to fit to the backwash outlet? You will need some water (1/2 ton or so) to flush the last bit, add chlorine to this to kill of mossies etc Mop out the remaining 1/2 inch or so of water and clean it to try to prevent staining to the grout (unless too late)

Hi Cyprusishome, I am the Technical Director of Octopus Pools. Hi Brandy Sour, brian24001 has given you good advice. Wait till the weather is not so hot before you do this and don't leave the pool empty for too long or the tiling may suffer.
