Try downloading the correct version from Adobe.com look under trials and you can download the full CS5 master suite is that is what you want, it is the full latest version and you can double check for updates after it has downloaded and you can run it for 30 days as a trial. Then go to wherever you like but I use pirate bay and get the serial numbers or a generator. It works for windows and mac Paul

No you don't, there are several peer to peer systems and it is not nescessary to download through a torrent but it is up to you, I have CS3, CS4 and CS5 for both Windows and Mac and got them all from Adobe. If you use adobe it has its own accelerator and doesn't take the chance of downloading anything but what you need. I have nothing against torrents but if you don't need to use them then I personally would avoid them, it doesn't happen often but there are sometimes additional files to what you requested to download and in this case I don't see the point in taking a chance. Just one word of advice though, if you intend to give this to others then you should not download the master suite as it is too big for windows to copy and paste (over 8GB) Mac users can do it but only by formatting a memory device to OSX extended, I don't know of a way to do this for windows. If you are plannuing o doing it for wibdows and want to share with others, download in parts. Paul

Lynda.com has some excellent training videos on Adobe software plus other software including Picassa, Office, Windows etc. I think the cost for viewing any of their stuff is very reasonable. You can sample some of them for free.

And people on this board complain about being ripped off in many places..?! I have a serial number for all of Adobe's software and paid tens of thousands of guilders/Euro's in the past 20 years. Am I stupid or are you thiefs?

DC, we are thieves but as there is no international recognition in NC how can there be an international copyright law. Paul

Paul, you are right. May all pirates download a very nasty virus with their stolen software. And it happens when I look at the suggested download sites. Fair? Fair.

Amy, I can't get onto pirate bay through my work internet connection so I can't advise you on this at the moment but if you have downloaded the trial you should have 30 days and when I can get onto a server that allows me to get to pirate bay I can help you out. Paul

gooligan, if whataview took my advice they downloaded from Adobe and I can assure you that there won't be any keygens in that download. Of course if they have downloaded by your suggestion then you are correct but I doubt they would be thanking me for that, I think they would be thanking you, seems logical to me. If you still feel like being helpful, you could try to find a keygen only download for them, I can't get into any download sites through my work server or I would do it for them.

I got mine by downloading the free trial from the adobe website. I then searched for the keygen for that edition. Otherwise you can download the 'Shareaza' p2p programme from the internet. You can pretty much find any software you're looking for on there together with keygens, or allready hacked.

Can't help believing that if everyone actually paid for the software they use, it would be cheaper for everyone. It would also encourage software developers to develop even better products. Personally I prefer to pay for genuine software and if I can't afford it then that's their challenge to make if affordable. For once I agree with DC.

Hector, if the software is affordable I do pay for it, this particular software costs thousands of pounds. Almost everyone I know who has a version of this software says the same thing so that would be a reverse of what you said, if they made it cheaper for everyone then probably everyone would pay for it. As it is, I use a cracked version and take my chances, should it cause me problems, I have nobody to blame but myself however if I paid for a licence it would not necessarily help me if a virus attacked the particular software. It is up to the individual I suppose.

proger1 As a matter of interest what's your opinion on Adobe Elements 8? I have Version 7 but not to impressed although I'm not that competent to be honest. I have Win 7 64bit which seems to cause problems.

I am afraid you will need more than just a keygen or serial number to make any of the latest versions of photoshop to work. you need to edit a file in your system32 folder that listens to dns servers & replace a file with a cracked copy into the program folder that that the adobe programs sit in! if that makes any sense!

Hi Hector, in answer to your question, the last version of elements I used was also 7, and that was an upgrade from a bought version of 6, still have it so I suppose I could upgrade to 8 but because I am running several other software systems for photography post processing I haven't bothered with it. My recommendation for photography if you are willing to pay for it or get the crack should you want to take the chance, Adobe Photoshop CS5 or previous CS4 or even CS3 and lightroom but to make it work to its best ability you also need adobe bridge and depending what other things you want to use within the available systems go for the Adobe CS5 Master Suite or Design Suite and as multi M's has pointed out get the non OEM version or if you can get the student version. I have lots of other software, portrait professional, landscaping systems, panaromas software. I suggest you look at this site if you haven't all ready done it. http://www.digital-photography-school.com/ Paul
