| I have Skype on th European package, so my balance remains very stable. Last week I suddenly noticed that £5 odd had disappeared from my total. On checking the history I discovered that someone had hijacked my account and had spent two days phoning all over the world. I complained to Skype, who informed me that it was my fault and they had no interest in my complaint. So have cancelled automatic recharge in case it happens again and have changed password and all seems to be OK. Forewarned is forearmed, so be aware. |

| No offence meant, but are you sure that it wasn't the Wife? Or the Lodger? It is often someone who has access to the machine... Of course if you have what is called a 'weak' password, then any on-line account is at risk - I would recommend that everyone review all their passwords after reading this: - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password_strength - and then use one of these utilities to make and test a really Strong password: - http://www.passwordmeter.com/ https://www.microsoft.com/protect/fraud/passwords/checker.aspx?WT.mc_id=Site_Link |
