I am trying to place an ad but its telling me it does not regonise the password you sent me.

Hi Lilli, the password is case sensitive, e.g. AbC is not abc. Best to copy and paste. If it doesn't work then email me a temporary password and I'll change it for you.

Mines on, but take care once submitted you can not edit your ad but still very easy to use. had to ask my son how to reduce photo to less then 500kb

I've changed that to 2Mb now. If you find mistakes then just contact me and I'll correct them or if you change your mind then just submit another one, they're FREE but don't let my Glaswegian grandmother find out!

Jimbo - you can edit your advert - go to 'my dashboard' top right hand side of screen , then next toı your advert it says options and there is a picture of a pencil - click on this !!!

we've had a few adverts which are missing vital information, for those who haven't written an advert before remember the 4Ps

Product - what is it? Images would be good.

Price - how much?

Place - where is it situated? How do I get it?

Promotion - use some persuasive words, e.g. "as new"

after 5 days, the most popular advert on NCFP Classified Ads has been viewed by 162 people. Advertise for free at http://classifieds.northcyprusfreepress.com and beat your competitor to it. Multiple adverts are accepted, e.g. if you have a building firm then advertise as a plasterer, bricklayer and electrician

A few people have advertised without including images, if they now want to add up to 3 images then all they have to do is repeat the advert without any text and we'll transfer the images to their original advert. Sorry we couldn't add editing features but this could allow people to completely change their advert after we've accepted it and the mind boggles as to what those changes might be!

As requested we've increased the number of images you can include to 5, this is especially useful for house sales. Have a look at the way that estate agents are describing their properties, including giving room measurements. Save yourself thousands, advertise on http://classifieds.northcyprusfreepress.com

Thanks for the feedback Vaughan. I've discovered that by not allowing advertisers to edit their adverts they can't relist them so I've added a year to all advert expiry dates and allowed editing!
