| Hi all,
As a turkish cypriot that was born and brought up in the UK, I'm looking at moving to North Cyprus and will be staying in Serdarli (about 10mins drive from Ercan towards Iskele).
To continue working for the same company I work for in the UK I require a fast reliable internet connection (hard to come by in Cyprus I know  ). I did ask around at Nethouse and Extend when I was over there in the summer but can't be sure how reliable the connections are once you get it.
Which ISP hoav you guys been using and how is the reliablity and speed?

| Reliable & internet connections are not 2 things that go together. It's mostly on but you will get short blips from time to time & sometimes longer outages. How fast a connection do you want? |

| hi we been with nethouse networks for 2 years and they are verry good and we are due for renewal this month and we will have it with them again we have 1 meg wireless internet and is verry good i must say cannot fault them yet .

| your best bet for fast connection would be a land-line based one... Then it's not only faster but substantially cheaper. Does Serdarli have land line telecomms? |

| Thanks for the replies.
When I was in Cyprus last month I did go see Nethouse and Extend. Extend were able to offer a ADSL line in Serdarli (we already have a landline in the house) but Nethouse could only offer wireless.
Currently both were able to offer a 4mb connection which is the minimum I was after. |
