Going for a few days in October.

My usual hotels are full:Larespark in Taksim;Blue House in Sultanahmet are full.

Any member recommend any other ? 3 to 4 star.Quiet area

We stayed at the Pierre Loti a couple of years' ago, lovely hotel and close but not too close to all the attractions.

barron hotel was nice and clean,in the Sultanahmet wholesale district, free coffee,free tea,cappacino in the bar.

5 mins walk from a wonderful huge bazar

mikelapta, have you tried http://www.booking.com? If not it is worth a shot; the system enables you to key in specific destinations and dates, it also provides a numeric scale of recommendations for all hotels and allows you to target particular star ratings. Hope you have some success!

Hotel Harmony was good last May ...unassuming, small, very friendly ...walking distance to Blue Mosque, tramline etc.

(See reviews on trip advisor)
