| Going for a few days in October. My usual hotels are full:Larespark in Taksim;Blue House in Sultanahmet are full. Any member recommend any other ? 3 to 4 star.Quiet area Thanks Mike |

| Hi Mike, We stayed at the Pierre Loti a couple of years' ago, lovely hotel and close but not too close to all the attractions. Regards |

| barron hotel was nice and clean,in the Sultanahmet wholesale district, free coffee,free tea,cappacino in the bar. 5 mins walk from a wonderful huge bazar |

| mikelapta, have you tried http://www.booking.com? If not it is worth a shot; the system enables you to key in specific destinations and dates, it also provides a numeric scale of recommendations for all hotels and allows you to target particular star ratings. Hope you have some success! |

| Hotel Harmony was good last May ...unassuming, small, very friendly ...walking distance to Blue Mosque, tramline etc. (See reviews on trip advisor) |
