I cant see anywhere to post a photo. My animals have been very interested in a slug/caterpillar type creature this last couple of weeks (there is more than one of them). When extended it is about 3-4" long but when it is touched by anything it curls up into a U and swishes from side to side. It resembles a bit fat slug but is not slimy and has tortoise looking ridges down its back and appears to have two huge eyes. If someone can tell me how to post a picture, I have one.

Whistler,

There IS no facility to post pictures on this board !

The most that you can do is to upload your photo to another website - either a 'photo-sharing' site such as Flickr or Photobucket (just Google them) or one of the social networking sites that allows you to post photos these days.

Once your photo is safely established on a website, you can post its 'URL' (that's its Address or Location - the bit that starts ' http://www....etc' & ends in '.jpg') on here, so that other people can click on the 'link' and be taken to wherever your photo is.

If you require more detailed instructions, just email me keithcaley@yahoo.com

Simbas, Chris and britvic thanks for your feedback. Simbas, you got it in one. Never seen one before and we`ve had a few this week. Just wanted to be sure it was safe for the animals. Thanks again M x

Could it be the Oleander Hawk Moth Caterpillar, if you look on Wikipedia it will show you pictures of the caterpillar and the moth.
