| When I looked at the posts this morning after yesterday's news that the bypass may be closed to replace traffic lights with roundabouts I thought I would read rants from numerous members but it seems the bypass is being bypassed. Almost felt disappointed enough to post one of my crap jokes |

| Lets be honest this road is amongst the most dangerous in the world. Stupid junctions such as at the GAU turn. What about the Karaman crossing? The roundabouts are not treated as roundabouts because the full signage and markings are missing....not to mention approaches to the by pass from Lefkosia...........the sign for Girne and Lapta is on the crash barrier as you go past, either the correct or incorrect side. Get some advance signs. Although very few roads can be classed as dangerous; as it is usually the drivers, this one is dangerous and at night; Russian Roulette springs to mind at every junction and roundabout. |
