Here's the set-up of a "Map of Girne" to find medical help fast: a hospital, private clinic, GP, dentist, pharmacy, optician etc. Again, I'm depending on YOUR help, your feedback in this thread!

You'll find draft-1 of the map here: http://is.gd/f6SEq/Map_of_Girne_medical .

There are pharmacies at X10(3) and W9(3).

It looks like there's little or no interest in this map [ http://is.gd/f6SEq/Map_of_Girne_medical ] - little views and only feedback from Sue (thank you!). I'll take the map off line so we can all forget about it.

I got several requests to make a Map of Famagusta with Governmental offices etc (like the one about Girne) and I think I'd better spend my time making such a map. It'll be in a new thread on C44 (depending on feedback) or only on the Glencoe Cypress forum [ http://is.gd/f7gAB ], with mainly people living East of Girne (Esentepe and farther away).

I do wish that you would stop behaving like a petulant child. What do you want folk to do, start a bloody DC fanfare ??

Why dont you do us a favour and take yourself off line too.

Until today almost 1000 people from countries all over Europe, though mainly British people, downloaded the (first) free "Map of Girne" with Governmental offices etc., but there was obviously no need for a map of Girne (medical). No fanfare; I got all the help from people - helping others, Cooper - needed to make the first map. You were not one of them, possibly because no copied links from your favourite Youtube.com were of any use. So I really don't need your criticism or silly remarks here.

Update nr. 23: "Map of Girne" here: [ http://is.gd/f6LyU/"map_of_Girne" ].

Or download - with instructions - the regularly updated version of this free map (high resolution, 300 dpi = fit to print on A4 or larger) here: [ http://is.gd/f6LyU/hi_res_"Map_of_Girne" ].

Cooper,

Why your post? Dc has just done a great helpful job producing the map of Girne, allowing all to download free of charge also, why try to drag him into replying to such a useless comment?

DC

I for one do not use the forum at weekend so one day did not give me any chance to make any additions for you. Good idea though, but perhaps add areas outside Girne for emergency use.

Breezyboy, I understand. But suggestions for the (first) "Map of Girne" arrived fast and they did not for the medical version of the map I had in mind. All suggestions for medical locations will now be put on the original map (some done already) - which maybe better anyway.

Cooper, ref msg 5. 'box, back in' springs to mind or maybe, ' jar/spoon/jar'. DC, ignore the negativity of the mindless few who do not see other than their own selves/wants/needs et al. The concept is very much valued by those who need such information and you should be congratulated on your initiative.

Oh come on folks. It only takes a minute of your time to add any pharmacies, doctors, dentists or clinics that you know of to the map that Hans has taken the trouble to produce and it will be a good source of information for everyone.

I think it's an excellent idea. Don't give up Hans. I for one appreciate the work you have put into this project so thank you.
