| If only they were death defying... it's often proved wrong to the detriment of innocents...
Ah well there's something Darwinian about it... if they kill their offspring maybe the habit will die out in say - a few thousands years... sad but probably true. |

| I never understand the need to pull out in front of one car on a quiet road... three times on my way from Esentepe to Supreme supermarket to collect kids from bus yesterday cars pulled out right in front of me instead of waiting for a proper gap.
One silly woman pulled out from the right even though she must have seen me and there was a clear road behind me and then just to add insult to injury she slammed on her brakes to turn right into Mardos Ice Cream Parlour... no signal until she was turning. Why? She was going 50 yards... like I was going to slow her progress!
The UK is bad but the driving here is like whacky races... They must have got their licences at the fairground dodgems is all I can think. |

I think anyone here could fill a book of these incidents here in the TRNC in ONE day, I saw a driver trying to negotiate the turn right to Esentepe village only yesterday while using a mobile phone and writing something at the same time, guess what his load was - bottled gas !!
