It’s taken me 7 years to perfect this little gadget. This gadget fits under the dash and is connected to your indicator stalk and brake light switch. There is talk of this unit becoming part of the M.O.T. in Cyprus. This unit must only be fitted to vehicles on Cyprus roads (North & South). Now what this unit does: This unit stops the indicators from working until you brake and turn the steering wheel and only then do they start to flash. I do realize that a lot of cars already have a similar unit fitted from what I’ve seen on the roads, but my unit is an aftermarket part that can be fitted to any car. I’m now in the process of designing independently adjustable headlamps, so you can point them where you like (preferably at the on-coming traffic).

The other day I nearly pissed myself when I saw a car that had the wiring loom re-jigged in the back. When driving along... only the in the dark only the reversing light worked... when the brake pedal was touched both indicators flashed but the reversing light went off, when the indicator was used the brake lights came on and didn't flash and when the car came to a stop.... the rear fog lamp slowly faded in and out whilst all the other lights flashed... some car electrician.

How can you expect these things to work correctly when all hands and feet are tied up doing other things, talking on the phone whilst applying make up or drying your nail polish out of the window. Perhaps someone out here can develope voice activated instruments for cars.............Oh hang on a minute isn't it rude to talk with your mouth full of Donner (Kibab that is). Cassius

How is this going to work when it is already acknowledged that slip roads on and off major roads here do not have suitable length acceleration and deacceleration lanes. It is necessary to deaccelerate before reaching the slip roads and who would want to do that without first indicating to the inevitable tailgaters "I intend to turn left". Indicating "I have just moved left" is too late ! I would rather see a gadget which renders all hand held telephones unuseable by drivers in a vehicle which is in motion. That would help improve accident stats.
