| About time they left. It may actually act as a spark for the peace process. My GC cousins in the south are just to comfortable with them around. I think you will find that next mandate will not be renewed especially if talks fail and will not be need to be renewed if they conclude. Win win all round wouldn't you say. |

| For the GCs they play a vital role in helping to convince the world that they are in constant danger from the invading Turkish. Although personally I don't believe they could stop the Turkish army for 2 minutes or that the Turkish army want even another yard of Cyprus. But the full cost of the UN force is paid for by the GC government so they must think they are necessary. |
