Kibris Liners hold a beginners class on Monday morning at Pun jab restaurant

in Lapta from 10.30. Classes start first week in October.

New class just starts on tuesday so not sure who will turn up for the classes, but last year when it started there was only women in the class, but maybe some brave men would like to join us!!!!!!

Would be great to have you come along, we danced at the Apricot Festival last year was really good fun we all enjoyed it.

I see by your picture you make cards, I do too it would be nice to have a class that we could all join in with to learn how to make cards. Just a thought!!!!

Are you moving over to the East side of Girne?

hi Laptagal We the kibris Liners hold three classes a week. mondays 10.30am to 12.30pm Beginners, tuesdays 10.30am to 12.30pm Absolute beginners. Wednesday 10.30am to 12.30pm Intermediate, Classes help at Punjab restaurant Lapta. All classes 5tl for 2 hours and if you decide you like it it will cost you 10tl for a years membership. This is the Goverments ruling because we are a registered Dance Society hence the name, We need men, we have a few but would very much like more. Come and join us, it is good for the heart and circulation. You can burn 300 Kalories an hour Line Dancing. come and join us. if you don't learn anything you can have a laugh trying to learn. Hi Linda,

Yes I am moving over to the East, quite near to Carringtons Denze site just out side Esentepe. I am coming over in the morning to sign the contract. Not sure when I am moving as the place is just getting finishing touches done to it.

I have never lined danced before but always want to give it a go as it looks so much fun, will it be a problem that I have never done before.

Card making classes is a fab idea and I am sure we can sort something out, my stock is all in my container and I think it will be another 3 weeks before I see it, just in time for Christmas Card making.

If you are free tomorrow after mid-day I would be happy to meet and talk further.

Hi LoopyLou, thanks for the invite but not quite my forte.....more of a pack down with 7 other blokes playing with odd shaped balls lol.

My sisiter is a Line Dance Instructor and my Daughter attended her classes so that's how I know the music.



She is coming for a holiday with us in October so may see you at one of your classes



Hope it kicks off for you and more male dancers attend.

Hi all - Steve and Denise and their Phoenix Line Dance Club will begin their new season on Monday, 4th October with an Intermediate class at Altinkaya Jam Bar (opposite the Altinkaya Hotel on the Bellapaise Road), Tuesday, 5th October - Improver class at Green Valley Restaurant, Alsancak (Mare Monte Road), Wednesday, 6th October - Beginner class at Koca Reis Restaurant, Famagusta (adjacent to Salamis Hotel), Thursday, 7th October - Beginner class at Green Valley Restaurant, Alsancak (Mare Monte Road). All classes are from 10.30am to 12.30pm at 5TL per person with refreshments available and yes, we have quite a few male dancers - so don't be afraid to come and join us! Children's classes to be advertised at a later date.
