I dont think there are any homebrew type shops on the island, north or south, but you might be able to find food grade plastic buckets from some restaurants which you could repurpose. There is also a UK online shop, I believe its BrewUK, that ships here I think but the shipping cost is like 70 pounds or something.

For brewing buckets we use the square yellow containers with red screw tops, I think about 20l size (my farmer neighbour uses them for the milk). My husband drilled a hole in the top for the rubber bung and airlock. We brought those from England. Could bring you some things if they are small, when we come back in February 11. We live in Dipkarpaz when we are here. Have got some spare wine yeast and Campden Tablets and the odd airlock.

Hi, We asked on here for wine making equipment about 12 months ago, we got a lot of stupid threads from the islands di-k heads. We had to bring campden tablets, airlocks etc. from Blighty. A large plastic bucket of the right quality you can source here and we use Demi-johns (wine) which we can get on the dark side. Good luck we enjoy the hobby and have about 8 gallons ready for xmas and new-year.

My brother-in-law does manage to make wine with only local ingredients and equıpment, though Im not entirely sure how he manages the yeast part. He said he uses some slightyly wrinkled grapes in addition to the fresh ones to add natural yeast, but that seems odd to me. You could give it a shot. I know more about cider and beer than wine making but his wines aren't bad
