Pet Cross Veterinary Surgery is now open !! Sibel, Firdez and Basak are now working together in a new practice situated behind the new Starling supermarket off the Bellapais road (new sign posts have been placed on the main road for your convienance). Sibel is currently at the new surgery with Firdez and Basak to follow over the weekend. We look forward to welcoming our old and new clients to the new premises.

That's brilliant. Will there still be dog-clipping at the new surgery?

Can someone tell me their telephone number, please? I only have Sibel's mobile and if something happens and hers is off, I will need to call the surgery. (I have an 18 year old senile cat who is on his last legs so it's quite important!!)

If Sibel is not available her answer phone message will give you the number for the emergency vet. As of Monday the new number will be 0542 882 6774 - which will be a 24 hour number for both routine appointments and out of hours emergencies too.

RE msg 1, petcross: Just to make sure: does this mean that Firdez's current practice is or will be closed?

Firdez is not closing her practice, Firdez is relocating her practice to the new address. Pet Cross will me a merge of two established clinics under this new name. She is currently at the old clinic but is moving to new address this weekend. The old premises will be closed .

Thank you, petcross. You answered what I meant but didn't write... I meant of course whether her current location would completely shut down or not. It's clear now!

You are so right about the best two vets. Great people, great caring and a great service. I am sure the other vets are good too but these two in my opinion are the tops.

Please give my very best wishes to Firdez who has been taking care of my cats, past & present, for 9 years.

She's always been my No.1 service provider in the TRNC.

It's a pity that some of the other businesses here don't take a leaf out of her book. Maybe she could give them some leasons in how to do it?

Go through Lemar carpark (Karakum) and turn left at the top (Mama Mia restaurant on right corner).... then you will see the signs for the Clinic but its the first left (unmade road) BEFORE Starling...follow road and the clinic is on the left...well signed....good luck.

I wouldn't say they were the best vets. They just have the best bedside manner.

Pertev is the top vet here, highly recommended.

This should not turn in to "vet wars' Firdez and Sibel are great and I have nothing but praise for them and have also heard wonderful things about Pertev, it is not a competition, one day we may need any of them.
