Was he/she wearing a collar ..... and where was he lost ? West of Kyrenia? LAPTA,ALSANCAK etc?

This is a slight diversification but I was up in Esentepe village yesterday and there was a lovely looking dog roaming around obviously lost, it was like a mastiff kind of dog, black with tan, no collar but well kept, it was going round everyone and it just looked completely bewildered

I am surprised nobody has seen this dog as I never saw a spaniel at all when we were there earlier this month keep looking folks spaniels are wonderful dogs.

We have 2 cocker spaniels (or cooker spaniels as our vet calls them), girls, one black and one golden, they always attract attention being so rare here. Fabulous breed of dog. Really feel for you thunder4 and hope with my heart you get him back!!!!

I saw what I thought was a spaniel type last night by silver rocks rummaging in the bins, he was with a beautiful little skiiny so skinny tan dog. Went to buy food for them so I could get a closer look but they ran away. I hope you find the dog soon, i still havent had a sighting of my jack x We left the food for them but they wouldnt come close whilst we were there.That was about 6.45pm. If they are there tonight on my way to work I will try again. x

Re msg 9 are your 2 spaniels show strain or working strain,Ruby's dad was working strain and mum was showstrain while Joe[Cocker] isfull working strain.Bob.

Show strain bob! Though I have never shown them, they are simply beloved pets!!! And to be honest, is so hot here, they have been clipped right back so they don't look exactly like show dogs just now!!!

I think i might have seen him, it must have been yesterday morning. I live in Karsiyaka and was heading out at about 11am. I was just turning onto the main road from the road where the Olive Oil Factory is. There was a black dog, which after looking at pics on internet could be a spaniel, but i'm not 100% as i dont know breeds really well. He was in the Olive groves next to the road.

The only thing, i didn't notice the tail was docked.

He did have a collar on, but couldn't see what colour.

He looked healthy and fine, but a a bit skitty. I thought he might be lost, and wanted to stop, but unfortunately was on my way out to a wedding and really couldn't be late. Sorry i really would have loved to stop, but just couldn't.

If I see him again i'll do my best to get a better look/stop.

I am beginning to think that this spaniel has been dognapped as he is probably worth a lot of money out there particularly if he has not been castrated but keep on looking.
