Hi all. Comming out to Kyrenia in 10 days time and I'm interested in hiring a motorbike if poss. I've checked the previous listings that point to Harvey as the best bet but when I was out in June this year, I'm sure I saw a new bike dealers on the road into Kyrenia from Turtle Bay that sold Harleys etc and offered rentals. Was I hallucinating? Any help appreciated. Tx

You don't have to prove you can drive a BMW to buy one so why a powerfull motorbike? Wait for it - the next will be a competency test before you can buy a laptop!!! Its not the power in the motorbike that kills, its the lack of situational awareness of the rider and the others around them.

Bikers club is the best place to rent motorbikes, they are all legal and come with the correct insurance ect. i hired a Harley Davidson VRod at the weekend 100 euros a day, very good value when you consider that the bike costs 25k over. Take my advice and make sure anything you hire is fully insured and legal!

Bikerboy, you must have a good mate there at the Bikers Club. I will be amazed if they can rent a V Rod for €100/day! Simple calculations..............Bike cost €25000+ full ins at €4000/yr. Say it goes out 100 days /per year, after 3 years the gross return is 30,000. Cost (without tyres and service) so far is 37,000. Don't forget about the overheads too of running a business here! Would you want to be in a business like that? Not me Come on bikerboy give yourself a pinch
