We've been watching a large ship approach from the west, and its finally just off Karsiyaka and close enough to read. Azzurra Lines.... I've looked it up and it's a ferry service from Croatia, Albania and Montenegro.

I find this quite exciting, as hopefully it means our borders are opening a little more? Perhaps I'm reading too much into but we see so few vessels out this way

Does anyone know any more?

Dear Mrs Snakes,

Yes ,great to see something happening in an otherwise empty sea..I just think that, the almost total lack of sea life,..... By that I mean, the rather"ere" silence from having no sea birds or wading birds on the beaches..somehow rather odd..lol

I assume this ferrys last port of call was somewhere in Turkey otherwise it is (according to GC interpretation) entering the TRNC illegally?

Or have I misunderstood the situation regarding boats?

The ferry has been bought by Fergun as part of their fleet.

CJtill it is only the GC's who see this as "illegal" for the rest of the world it is ok unless they are stopped by the GC lobby.
