the type on ebay [that i assume you are refering to are £20.00 + £2.50 delivery total £22.50 ... these are only 13amp capability .. mine are 16amp and if you have an immersion on full blast i know which one id rather have ..[i had a fuse board catch alight recently in an apartment over there ] so i know the standard of the electrical work ..mine are uk made and im bringing them myself ... so witjh the greatest respect......... if you fancy offering a cheaper product [and able to fit them ] please go ahead i dont know who you are .but your comments are just negative .. its business !!!.its what makes our world go round ....hey i love competition .. if you can do better than me ..thats fine .but if ALL you can do is say you can get em cheaper .. so f....ing what .?????. what does that mean ..?? you dont actually offer anything .. do you ??? or maybe ive missed something here ???

Just to confirm what lindsay has said & stress that I have no connection whatsoever with him.

A friend of ours brought a timer switch over from the UK. Although the website said it was suitable for use with an immersion heater, it packed up almost immediately & I at the time thought this was the issue.....only 13 amp.

You are far better off with card meters some people are taking the switches out as there have been problems with them also with a card meter one is all you need for all your air cons and emertion heater you put on what you want say £20 for a weeks stay after that they pay for there own we have been doing these for 2 yrs and all seem satifided with our service and all is gaurenteed for 2yrs we have thousands of cards and carry spear meters incase one day one goes wrong http://www.braceybuilders.com

ok what would be the cost then to change all the on/ off switches to your card meter type ??? lets say 4x aircons + i immersion ??...............................or ......do you have to re -do the wiring so everything runs through 1 card meter off of the fuse box ??? lindsay .. can you give me a price for this method ...

Just buy, bring over, if you cannot fit, some local cypriot can. problem and big expense spared.

actualy no mate .....ive had them fitted in my rental apartments for .... what ... best part of 18months ...and sorry when i used to import winnebagos from the usa to uk for at least 5 years [made fortunes ] [sometimes $10,000 per unit,],,until all the other gits jumped on my banwagon !!!.. thats what life is all about ... everything has a lifespan ... got to move ward make a little,, and move on to something else ...by the way never even saw you ady ...as ive only just been posting on this web site for less than a week .... i placed a villa to rent and thought mmm...oh i wonder if anyone in trnc would like to buy a timeswitch or two ??? save em a little on the leccy bill .. na all you get here is negativity and sarcasm ,,,, yup im really looking 4 ward to doing business with ex pats in the trnc ....NOT ...

You probably wouldn't be surprised to hear many people in TRNC tried to buy an Aligator from the factory, even though the price is the same in the TRNC as it is in the UK. Despite the fact that we don't give customer support to those that bring in their own Aligators, people still tried to buy them.
