Good morning , can somebody give me easy directions to the Savoy please { bearing in mind i don't know Girne }

Coming from the Famagusta area, you will come into Girne at the Lefkosa roundabout. Go straight over into central Girne, after half a mile, you will pass the Colony Hotel on your left. 100 m after the Colony, there is a small roundabout. Keep left and take the narrow one way road that runs through the town. After, 300 or 400 m, the Ottoman Savoy Hotel is on your left. It does not have a very big frontage onto the main road, but you turn left, just past it into the car park.

Please be aware that when approaching from the directions given above to the SaVoy if you miss or can't park at this side entrance the next left is a no-entry one-way street so don't turn into that... or you'll likely have an accident.



You could go all the way around the block by turning next left into a public car park, drive right through and out the other side then left and left again to bring you down this one-way road in the right direction and this leads to the hotel's main entrance and car park. The other side being the Casino entrance...

Agreed. I would drive slowly down the main road, looking for the sign, but as I said, the frontage is narrow. Be prepared to turn left as soon as you see the Otoman Savoy Hotel sign and you will see the car park. I think approaching from the otherside is more complicated and has not got such obvious signs.

If you are just visiting and not lugging luggage park in the main Girni car park at the top of the town and walk down the main street as directed to the hotel it will save you getting messed up in the one way system you may wish then to look at shops a thing I believe that some people do
