I have been looking at this lately and there are several types of different textures at different prices. The last one I looked at at SIBA was 16 tl per sq meter for the cheapest very green low turf (not bad for cheap one) then the prices go up from there. Another shop told me their prices started at 19tl per meter. So far SIBA have been the best due the the range of types/colours and at 16 tl meter - not bad. It gives you a started if you find it any cheaper then you know you have a bargain.

I had a large area (360 sq mt) covered with artificial grass 4 years ago and I can't recommend it enough. It still looks fantastic, no mowing, no watering, very low maintenance and still as green as ever. The shop we got it from is no longer there, but there are many other shops supplying it now. If it is laid properly it will last for years.

If you're anywhere near sunset beach club (lapta area) pop in and see Un. He had some fitted and it looks (and feels) really quite good. I think it was about 30tl per m2 but it was the good stuff with long grass and the black underlay. Think that price was fitted but don't quote me.....LOL I am sure he will let you have the number of the guy that done it. Sorry I can't be more specific.

It cost us about £6500 supplied and fitted with underlay and the sand scattering on the top. Everyone comments on how great it looks and all I have to do is pick out the weeds now and then, sometimes I leave some in to make it look even more real! Well worth the money, we were told it would last 20 years, well after 4 it still looks fantastic, no fading, no watering, no cutting and looks brilliant. It does need to be laid professionally as I have seen some just slapped on the floor with no underlay or sand and it looks artificial, so if you are thinking of getting it done, it's worth paying to have it done properly.

We've got tiles all round the pool and shingle down the side so we wanted a bit of colour and a natural look and that's what we got.
