RE Lazy days : (...) if the Lira is getting this strong against other currencies like Euro (...)

Yes. But not as bad as Sterling - YTLira. 1 YTL now = 0,57 Euro (Not so long ago: 1 YTL was 0,48 Euro).

The pound is dropping against most currencies and is still on the way down.

The euro is also, at last, on the way down.

The dollar is on the way up.

The Turkish lira is an anomaly. Against all the odds, it should be losing value - but it is not.

If you have not sold your lira back to pounds do so quickly - or preferably dollars.

The lira’s luck has got to be close to running out.

Good advice Troodo, my partner and myself transferred our cash here to Sterling and made a bit on it we also bought $100k in the likely event that it will strengthen in the next 6/12 months
