947 thank you's for the Disability Knows No Borders Concert

Yesterday we released to the TRNC press details of financial comings and goings for the Disability Knows No Borders Concert. The feelings were that this would be a better outlet for this information because of the wider audience obtained which is far greater than this forum.

It is noted that some, those who wish to hide their full identity (Tinker!!!), continue to plough a fruitless coarse of negativity and dare I say it jealousy, can now, if they can afford it; plod down the road and buy a newspaper. Will they then question how much was raised by the media company and demand instantly accountable figures on that publication!

It was very hard work putting this on, 947 tickets were sold, to those people we thank you, with some 200 complimentary (the groups, press, prize winner, 112, etc, etc) at the height of the concert some 1200 people were rocking and rolling in there. To those who supported and those who give constructive comments, we thank you. YES WE WILL DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR

Very well done and many thanks for getting tickets delivered to the East side, I know several peeps who were really grateful that they didn't have to trail away into town to get them.



There will always be 'bashers' especially on here, just ignore them, many peoples honesty & integrity have been called in to question in the past and it probably will happen again in the future.



Good job well done and good luck for next year's event

WEll 1200 , that is amazing, you did so well to organise this event, very glad that I was part of it. but a big thank you to the support from the public, as with any event you it could not happen without your generosity,

I plodded down & bought the paper ..

Brilliant figures . 17940TL banked . 1000TL plus to come . 18940TL equals 947 @ 20TL (Thank you's)

Less than 6000 for staging etc.

12000 for Cheshire Homes .

When I went to school . 6000 from 19000 leaves 13000 . 1000TL difference (£450) ????

No-one paid on the door .



Was a great show . A lot of work put in . The figures just do not add up .



Would it change a thing if you knew my identity.

And very well done for publishing your accounts. In the past month both you and NCCCT have done so and credit to both organizations for doing so.



(re msg 7 - I think the TL1,000 shortfall you identified is actually named as the "1000TL plus to come", though stand to be corrected).
