With respect this just stinks. In Pauline's situation I would I guess too have been sucked in by the silver tongued Ambassador. They are all tarred with the same brush, we can rot in hell and none of them give a toss. Keep the faith Pauline/Polly x

natalie, It will be fine, it will only lengthen the vigil, and the longer it goes on the more publicity it will get, just why the TRNC cannot cope with..... ...............A Silent Candle Light vigil speaks volumes.............. However London can cope with a "protest" in spite of a tube strike we will be there outside the Turkish Embassy in London at 10.30am - 4.30pm our good old Met Police say we must be careful waving our banners! (not to hurt anyone) and must not litter with our leaflets! IF YOU CARE PLEASE BE THERE..............NOW SOME OF US CAN BE AT BOTH? ON THE 4th IN LONDON AND IN LEFKOSA................ON................

TRNCvictim, don't take any notice of Glyn or APC, they both Oracle and her only mission in life is to get Brits so pissed off that they will leave the island. Shame really that they can be devious and to think we expcted to live them. Thank God for Turkey. Now this will upset her. Ne mutlu Turkum Diyene.

PLEASE READ THE ARTICLE BEFORE COMMENTS PAULINE IS VERY OPTOMISTIC, it will go ahead but not on the day we planned NATALIE Please do not go on and congregate, the police now know we are waiting for permission and would be forced to arrest you and possible deportation could follow. Pauline does not want this to happen to anyone, she has seen the farce that is the trial of Geoff Day. The police, if it had been their decision would have let us go ahead Monday of this I am sure, the District Office and the court have to be consulted. I am confident we will get the go ahead PLEASE READ NORTH CYPRUS FREE PRESS- It explains everything.

You have to understand permission is not vested in the police authority in the same way as it is in the UK. It's not a conspiracy just a different way of doing things.

Fair do's, 'Washerman' - isn't that a rather 'Holier Than Thou' attitude in your question of Msg 20? However much I feel and grieve for the plight of Kulaksiz 5, ABAG and ALL victims of TRNC property fraud, I am still of the opinion that, regardless of people's desperation in their plight, a peaceful 'candlelight vigil', even if approved, may be a minor irritant to the 'Powers That Be', but will not alter their [already proven] total intransigence. I really and sincerely regret expressing such an opinion - it makes me sick to the guts; how much I would dearly love to be proved wrong.

as long as permission is granted in the near future then that would be acceptable but if it wasn't or if, as I'm tempted to believe will happen, K5 members foolishly believe the committee of 5 "wise men" are anything other than stalling tactics to remove the momentum from the protest, then that would be more than sad. We'll see...

Hi Tenakouto, but Elko2 has already mentioned the TV program that he appeared on then, there is the committee - I just thought that the vigil, if it had been held on Monday, was building up the momentum. Why wait til the eleventh hour to see if permission is needed? It was obvious that permission is needed. (They) whoever that is, must be chuckling quietly.

I agree with you malsancak, look how many promises they made to Aga victims, not one promise materialized, they made their promises and ran never looking back, and then hid behind closed doors, all victims need to be very wary of empty words that mean nothing to desperate victims! It maybe a minor irritant Tenakoutou, but between London and Cyprus, the world press will know what is going on inside the TRNC, and maybe it will make future victims aware of the perils of investing in such a corrupt country!

TRNC victim, the worlds press just want a story that all they care nothing for you or the others, and the world in general couldn't care less about what is happening in the TRNC or RoC, dont delude yourself, it is of little or no importance globally and is also why so many similar issues in Spain, Portugal and the rest of Europe go un-punished.

pugwash I agree with most of that however we have to applaud the strength and tenacity that people are going to to keep up the momentum whether it works or not. My circs are nowhere as bad as theirs and I will support as I can but I would fight and fight if I had been in their position at least you have pride in yourself for doing so. theres lots of things go unpunished in the UK and the world some lots worse than this so what do you suggest then nothing!

Honestie, to be honest yes I would let it go, not that I do not applaud those that wish to fight but it will come at a terrible cost and with virtually no chance of any recompense. Life's experiences have tended to show this. Many people have lost large sums to banks, crooked scam men etc in countries all over the world, I am afraid the old "caveat emptor" is the most true thing, if a deal is too good to be true then it usually is whether that is a cheap house or an investment or similar.

pugwash my lifes experiences too show that but having been involved in things that are so horrendous that I would not put out on this forum and if in these case people did not fight and let it go they would have never in some cases achieved what they did without spending too much money but spending time fighting for their rights. It is in many cases the only way some people can deal with the circumstances. you letting go of something is your decision and only one you can make the others make theirs and thta is why I applaud their tenacity and if and if!! anything changes because of it as has happened in many other dealing s I have encountered then we or I will be saying We are so glad you didnt give up

Thank you honestie for your support, and no I'm not prepared to let it go, I am prepared (along with a lot more victims) to fight to rectify the wrongs done to many family's, and to try to ensure that any new victim knows exactly what they are letting themselves in for by giving what they have worked all their lives for to a Country so corrupt, if they then choose to ignore the warnings that is up them! Pugwash maybe you would "let it go" perhaps you couldn't care less about any future victims sucked into the midden, or perhaps you can afford to lose everything like so many have, or then again perhaps you just can't be bothered because it doesn't concern you, yes perhaps many people have lost out to criminals all over the world, they are not me pugwash, it would be so nice if you feel we are wasting our time, to say nothing instead of telling us our deal was cheap, (mine certainly wasn't) I hope what's happened to so many never happens to anyone in your family!

Pugwash, try for one moment to understand what people are going through, especially the longest running recipients of this farce of the TRNC the Agab group. Put yourself for just one moment in their position, would you too not fight like a tiger had you had everything taken away from you. Show some compassion for God's sake. Do you live here, your profile shows Girne/London? An on the fence poster perhaps with little or no knowledge of the true facts. Msg 18 Pollymarples, no been here too long, just like you especially and many of us so very hacked off reading last nights news, we just cannot afford to loose the momentum. Has to keep going. PS We are neighbours if you can describe the UNWIN palace!!!!

Natalie I am fully aware of all the goings on here Robb and all. I live Catalkoy way at least 9 months of the year for the past 5 years. I do have sympathy with not only ABAG but others in similar positions not only in TRNC but other parts of the world, which if you re-read my posts you will see what I am saying. Anyway like you I am entitled to my opinion.

Pugwash, Unlike "other parts of the world" the TRNC is very very small! and very confined, easy for rounding up? If you live Catalkoy way I am certain you will be in the know You are entitled to your "Opinion" as are the victims of criminals and corrupt Governments!
