I am meeting a friend for lunch today in Girne town centre, anyone got any suggestions where might be good? One suggestion was Ezic Peanuts, apparently they do nice salads?

We had a lovely lunch at Ali Garip on Friday. It is next to the Limassol Bank near the crossroads where the road goes up to 1001. It has a small frontage, but goes back and back with a garden and courtyard behind it. They serve olive bread rolls, olives and olive oil first and then what ever you order. I had vegetable crepe which was absolutely delicious and extremely good value at 11 TL. Mr s had chicken and mushroom crepe. I will definitely be going back.

The House -opposite the Colony Hotel. Top quality burgers, steak sandwiches, club sandwich, salads etc and a decent house wine, not as expensive as the place looks.

We went to the House opposite the Colony and it was super. Would thoroughly recommend it, I had a chicken, chickpea and pesto salad for 14 tl so I agree, it is not as expensive as I thought it was going to be. Msg 14, Living; No I didn't have time to get married during lunch!! I think my husband would have something to say about that. Someone also recommended the old Little Swallow, almost opposite the Dome Hotel. Will try that next time plus all those recommendations above. Thank you everyone!
