| I agree A very balanced piece and the problems raised appertain as much to the North as they do to the South. Unfortunately, money talks and whilst the developers and banks have such strong influence within the respective governments, nothing much will change. Paul |

| Property developers/builders/estate agents and foreign property buyers and speculators care nothing for the island or its people. As for golf courses !!?? Why?? Cyprus is already in the process of becoming a desert because of the water problem. Pipelines from Turkey or desalination plants will not provide a long term solution. What then?? Just keep filling your pools, washing your cars, watering your nice little gardens and of course the golf courses .... |

| Korineum Golf Course has it's own de-salination plant and does not use the precious water supply ! |
