For years Liverpool f.c. have had their good times in football and now its nice to see the other side of football, the real side of football - lets see if they can get out of this mess ! Relegation for Liverpool would be good for the game as the so called big clubs expect to be in the top four, not the bottom four. The fans will get to realise fighting relegation is a different ball game and it tests their loyalty.Im talking from experience.Im hoping to get them in the f.a.cup and knock them out .Liverpool have never beaten Crystal Palace F.C. in this cup.The most famous victory being 4 - 3 in the semi final 1990 , when we lost 9 - 0 in the league the same season.

Liverpool supporters cant take criticism. Its not in their nature.

Too used to winning.

Wont win much while the Yanks are in control.

Paul i've got to agree with you. And one point from the last two games is nowhere near good enough for a great club. Are you satisfied with the two points united have managed to take from their last two??????????????

Geoff,

Course not,United are a poor outfit at the moment, and where lucky to scrape a draw on Saturday.I would have to say that its the worst Manchester United side that i have seen for a long time.To conceed three at Goodison and throw the game away after dominating was an absolute disgrace. To allow such a poor side like Liverpool to score two goals at the shrine was inexcusable, need i go on,

Paul.

When will Arsenal win a trophy??? keep dreaming Stan - wanna bet £20,000 you wont win premier league title this 10/11 season ? lovely...Eagles

United always get into there stride around December onwards.

The sign of a good team, is even when not at their best (like now) you can still grind out a draw. 1 point, better than 0 ;o)

It has been announced that Liverpool FC have been refused permission to build a new stadium on Stanley Park. The council said a fair every year is okay, but a circus every two weeks is taking the p#ss

Mark&beck,

I loved that, brilliant and Im a Liverpool Fan!

Its amazing though that a team is going through a bad period and all the jealousy that has fermented for years in these smaller clubs fans comes to the fore!

we have our problems and will get resolved, but one thing Liverpool will always have the support of its fans and not like the Crystal Palace fans who deserted them after they lost their Premiership Status- half empty ground of Eagle Supporters!!- Never see Anfield like that.

In the New Year you will be eating your words and yes if you want us in FA Cup - Bring it on !!

Well said newlad .. Big clubs win the premiership title,

Blackburn Rovers a big club ..

They bought it then sold all the players on when the big clubs came sniffing .. 4 & 5 times what they paid for them ..

How many of the big clubs can move their players on for a profit ..

Great to see the over whelming support for the Pool.

They are having a rough time at the moment.

The question is why?

The fan base is the same and as loyal as they have always have

been, so whats gone wrong?

Ownership?

Management?

Playing Staff?

Sixtyfour thousand dollar question?

Bad management.

Bad financial deal letting the Yanks buy the club.

Bad player purchases and sales of the wrong players.

This all equals the total bad management of a once

great football club with a proud record both in the UK

and Europe. The buck stops with the people behind the

scenes.

For the guy knocking Arsenal, the Club, the Board and the management decided for better or worse that once they took on the responsibility of a new stadium tht would dictate our finances. Once the stadium is paid off it will finance all transfers. Unlike the other clubs we are run how a club should be as a business.

Harita, we've moved a lot of our players on for a profit.

Man U hit a sticky patch... Liverpool hit a brick wall.

I take no pleasure in Liverpool's discomfort. I hate to see any of our top teams struggle as I know what delight the Spanish and Italian teams take from it...

Blackpool continue to defy the media Pi**takers and play with pride and passion and as a team. We were the better team not that Liverpool were good but we played some cracking football.

Every game is a cup final to us, Blackpool fans have written a new song for the prem, something like this

Come on down to the sea

To see the Blackpool FC

Come on down to the shore

Dont want to go home

Dont want to go home

This is the best trip i have ever been on!!!!!

mess 37 . i dont think it would make a difference if they appointed sir alex and jose morrinio has his number two , they have a very poor squad and unless a shinning arabian knight turns up at the eleventh hour to buy the club from hicks and gillett they are finnished for good. .

Do all you absolute muppets really think Liverpool will get relegated.

The club is in a bad state by our standards but worse case scenario we will finish mid table.

Very bad start to the season but a 4 game winning run will bring us hack to top 6.

Don't get carried away please.

Well it looks like Liverpool now have new owners, subject to approval by the Premier League. It means we start again with no debts. What is that saying? ' Things are always darkest just before the dawn '

Things could be getting better for Liverpool. Will the next club to come under fire be Man u with all the debt that they are in, it could be an interesting season!!!!!!!

Man united are hiding a catastrophic financial situation from everyone.

They are £720 million in debt but the Glazers are £1.1 billion in debt.

All the Glazers business interest are struggling like he'll andmany of their shopping malls have gone bust.

Not so rosy for you mancs is it.

And ferguson will not be there much longer. Unless you get another wod beating manager after him you will also become a "has been"

Enjoy

Ste65, re post 47, i dont think that Hicks can raise the money. He will have to find £237 million by the 16th oct to repay the RBS bank loan, failure to do this will incur a £60 million penalty. Who in their right mind will come in with Hicks and throw away nearly £300 million just to keep hold of Liverpool FC. Gillett wont put his hand in his pocket any more, so its down to Hicks to pursuade another invester to come in with him. Any potential invester will look at the situation and see that the fans, who will ultimatly repay any investment, want Hicks out. So i think that Hicks will do a little saber rattling and then slide off into the sunset.

Liverpool is now owned by the Boston Red Sox. Unlike Hicks, Gillet and the Glazers the owners of the Red Sox are actually well liked by fans of their teams in the States (ask a Tampa resident about the Glazers if you would like to see them get extremely angry) so make of that what you will.
