I very very rarely get involved in confrontations, but my back is up and something needs to be done about it!



Whoever, or however, the rumour started that Krypton is Littlenige...i do not care...what i do care about is a man being wrongly accused of this and receiving 3.30am calls from someone withholding their number telling him to get off the net, when in actual fact, he was asleep...dealing with a stroke, and missing his wife!!



This has gone on long enough, and, if anyone one of you have ever had friends wrongly accuse you of something, then you should know how deeply distressing it is!



So please can this just be stopped and settled once and for all...it's disgusting how there is a free for all and bandwagon jumping on one person....and to whoever made that call last night....how jolly big and strong you are, NOT!! A bully is more bloody like it!!

Daisy I have to agree here with you this is such a shame. I would like to apologize to Nige as I was one of the people who believed that Krypton was Nige. I am so sorry to hear that Nige has been unwell and this unfairness must be causing him more stress than he needs. Whoever made such a call at that time of morning should hang their head in shame.and wholeheartedly agree with everything you have posted. Lets hope things improve for nige and this is no longer allowed to continue here on the forum.By that i mean personal vendettas.

It is not possible that anyone on this forum could gain access to 'Kryptons' telephone number or to anyone else. I did have a go at him/her last night for continuously berating Liz/Lilli however, the whole post/thread has since been deleted. The bulling did not start with Liz!

Sam couldn`t agree more. Think we all have a good idea. What concerns me is that you say Nige was dealing with a stroke? I sincerely hope he has not had another one. If so, when did it happen? I UNDERSTAND A CALL OF THIS NATURE CAN BE TRACED!!!!!

He had the stroke a while ago, but is still dealing with it...it's irrelevant when he had it, whats relevant is he is not very well, and does not need this sort of treatment.

Whistler you are absolutely right... hiding call-id does not stop phone companies identifying malicious calls. Somebody gets billed for the call and both numbers are a matter of record.



If Nige can identify the exact time and duration to his number then it's a simple matter to identify the caller's ID.



That number's location can then be easily established from the cell triangulation for the calling pattern for that number and IMEI....



As a first step, Nige should go to the Police who will be able to request the caller number from the network. Nige's own network will have a record of the incoming call with all the relevant data to start the investigation.



The caller should be suitably worried...

Oh yes... They don't need to know who you are to track you down. Here in TRNC to take out a 'Pay as you go' mobile you still have to produce your passport or some other ID. Even if not, i.e you bought the phone with you or second-hand it doesn't matter... the majority of your call pattern will be from the comfort of your own home... think about it. So once they know the number they can drill down into the data and pinpoint where you live.

Yes Liz is a friend, and again, as i have stated...i'm not interested in how all this came about, just that it needs to stop! I adore Liz, but to be honest, it's not even her that's making more out of this, it's the bandwagon kids!



I know this is horrible for her too, and i'm positive she would love nothing more than to see all this finish. I am sad for both parties...but it 'can' be solved and the sooner the better.



It would be nice to see them both sit down and apologise to each other...ok so they may never be friends again, but at least the animosity will stop...am i wrong to see 2 nice people become friends again???
