| A great favourite of mine also. Because he was usually a funny man lots of people did not appreciate his amazing sense of timing or realise just what a great actor he was. |

| God love him, I see him at cliffs pavilion in southend about twenty years ago, he was so very talented he can play many many instruments perfectly, lovely man and a true legend. X |

| I used to love Normans films as a kid. I remember seeing him in a documentary a few years ago. Even after a horrendous childhood he didn't have a bad word to say about anybody. Kind, considerate and self effacing - a true gentleman. Paul |

| I met him at leister square in the 70's by the cinema and as he passed me i recoqnised him and yelled Norman and he gave me a comic face I shall never forget he has a lot of fans up there who will enjoy his company |

| Lived off the coast of Blackpool in the Isle of Man, he used to visit Fleetwood quite often. Always had time for the kids a true gent and a legend as an actor. Will be sadly missed |
