What an Amazing Night for us the KLDS at Zetinlik 4th October 2010

Well what can i say. We were asked to dance at Zeytinlik on Sat 2nd October and that was just brilliant. And then we were invited to Dance again on the Monday after such a successful performane the previous Saturday. But Monday way outstripped the Saturday. Somehow the Beledyiesi got to hear that our oldest member in the team was 72 years old. After we danced they told us to stay on stage and the Mayor came on . shook hands with everyone and presented Rene with a present. And a huge bunch of flowers. What a nice gesture, She was over the moon.

We then were asked to do one more dance so the officials ran off to get my bag, as I had spare discs in it. And we did another dance to Thunderous applaus. We left the stage then but the officials came up and told us to follow him where Rene had a Photo shoot done with the Mayor. & bubbly The stall holders started to give Rene presents and she was so made up. What a wonderful way to end a very successful Festival at Zeytinlik. KLD
