I would not normally do this but this man has well and truly trifled with me and my money!















As you can see by the first mail on this subject, I gave this man a high accolade for some work he had done for me recovering a rocking chair.... Well then I gave him a 3 seater settee to re-cover for me. I was promised a 5 day turnabout wwhich I thought was OK. 6 weeks later, I still had not gotten the settee back. During this period I obviously made several trips to his shop to ask, complain, etc. Not until I threathened to call the Polis did I have the settee returned or rather 'dumped' in my front garden.

One picture is of a two seater identical to the three seater that I gave in to him the other is of the thre seater 'dumped' in my garden yesterday.

I do appreciate the issue you had is a serious one but 3 postings bout the same thing will by the rules get 2 of them closed and you won't get to choose which one.

proger 1, its actually 4 postings Keith has made and now its boring. Keith if you have made a nuisance of yourself as much as the postings on here no wonder the guy is not responding and done what he has done. If you keep badgering a TC he will go against you. Did you ask after the said period you agreed to whether he could still agree to this, did you ask how much work he had to do. Maybe the guy underestimated the timing he could do business with you. If he has just started up his business maybe he needs help.



I do agree that he should not have dumped the settee the way he did but to keep slating the guys business is not the way to go about getting things done.

The guy took my money upfront and then had no incentive to work on my behalf.... The guy is a charalatan!



I did not 'badger' him I gave him ample time to complete a job for which I had already paid. Re-read my posting... he promised 5 days and 6 weeks later had not honoured the contract. I think I have been very /too lenient with him.

Ailletoo, why did you pay the guy up front? Why did you not negotiate a deposit first? Did you ask him how busy he was to promise a turn around in 5 days to recover a 3 seater settee!

It is not something I would do normally, however, I fell for his sob story about not being able to meet his rent.. very unlike me, plus I really wanted the settee done in time for the visitors. In Karaoglanoglu it is a 3 day turn around which is where I am going now. My friend had hers done there and it is pristine.

At the time I visited him he had only one other job on. Hence my original accolade for him... to get him custom.
