| Just found out that the planned strike next weekend (either 22 or 24th October) has been called off at both Larnaca and Paphos. |

| We are coming on Sunday. I saw 2 postings saying a 24 hour strike and that the airport would be closed ! - one said 22nd, the other 24th. So I phoned Larnaca airport directly to check. The guy told me specifically ' The planned strike has been called off - the airport will operate fully next weekend' |

| re Brinsley msg 14, if the time it took our bags to come out on the caroussel a few months ago I would agree that they don't work, or were having a siesta (or whatever the GC equivalent is) |

| Dear Mr Short, Thank you for your email. Please note that further to recent developments we do not expect that Air Traffic Controllers will be taking any strike measures. | The originator of this thread posts so she has something to react to later. Something to do. I don’t think she intentionally tries to wind folk up. Maybe a natural trait. Who knows but it doesn’t do for making friends as, par for the course, she avoids answers to direct questions. There was never going to be a strike, or at least I have tried to find evidence but no luck. Chegs |
