I used to download programmes and they were stored onto the BBC iplayer desktop however things seemed to have changed. Now when I want to download a programme I can only see 2 options which are windows media player and portable devices.

So given the options I downloaded a programme onto windows media and found that it doesn't store it, I had to watch it once it had finished downloading.

Am I doing something wrong? If so what?? Any ideas please???

Thanks

Some nights I am given the option to download and some nights not. There is a new version to download. This may be better but I'm not sure.

We tried to download the new version but could not get it to work, whether it does not like windows 7 or not, we have no idea but in the end had to get rid of it and we thought we had managed to get the old system going again!

The new system has not had good reports on it at all but I will be blowed if I can get anything to download onto the bbc desktop (iplayer).

We wondered if it was something to do with the settings that someone here may know about?
