| Is it a big hassle bringing pets into TRNC? I've read that they have to be quarantined for 6 weeks and petowners are responsible for daily feeds etc. Has anyone has been through the process? I have a pedigree cat that I love to bits but would rather consider re-homing then put her through any trauma. |

| There's an article on Cyprus 44 about bringing you pet into North Cyprus http://www.cyprus44.com/property/pets.asp Quarantine is usually harder on the owner than the pet, my UK vet friend says! (He should know, he brought a cat from Canada to the UK via France - long story.) Animals are often a lot more resilient than we give them credit for, but the secret is to ensure that the actual journey is as stress free as possible. My vet friend's top tip is to make sure the cat is used to travelling in her carry box well in advance, so the plane journey becomes just another trip for her. |
