Hi, Will this product work on ceramic tiled steps going into a swimming pool? as whoever built our pool not only tiled the steps with ordinary ceramic tiles but also thought it would be a great idea to slope them slightly falling into the pool!!!!

The reason i ask is that in swimming pools, the areas most prone to algae attack is the grouting between the tiles, as this is a 'rough' finish. I understand that these non slip products are acid based and work by removing the glaze from the tile surface and leave a roughened surface. Will this surface not also help algae to cling to the tile surface and minimise the non slip surface of the step again?

yes it does work on pool tiles but you will need to lower the level of your pool for treatment
