Has anyone recently experienced UK mail to TRNC being returned to sender, marked - "No longer at this address"?

Not experienced this problem, BUT today was informed that if you write 'mersin 10 turkey 'NOT in capital letters or

put Cyprus anywhere on address.

IT WILL NOT GET HERE.



SO USE CAPS.

eg

MERSIN 10 TURKEY

My mail was returned to sender BEFORE it left the UK marked "No longer at this address - Royal Mail"

How would Royal Mail know I had moved (I hadn't)?
