| Especially those that still have the shackle marks on their shins! The whole Country is not fit for purpose and would be bust if not raping their mineral resources and selling them to China. Very pro the emissions ban to halt 'Global Warming' but have no qualms to selling billions of tons of coal a week to China so that they can burn it and make their contribution to global warming but not on Oz soil. Bunch of narrow minded, State provincial hypocrites. Richard |

| NCMan, if the we ran out of things to whinge about, we would live happily ever after, and that is really all most people want. If you have nothing to whinge about, I am happy for you. Most people here have very legitimate complaints, if you prefer to call it whinging, go right ahead, I would say it's a free country - but it is not - oh dear did I just whinge, or was it a legitimate complaint? Go ask Kulaksiz 5, Mary and Geoff Day, Tutuska Group, ABAG what they have to whinge about? |

| but what about Britain using Australia for Atomic experiments, Australia is still fighting for compensation from the Brittish, they just walked away, left the place uninhabitable and couldn't care less. Australia currently has the strongest economy of any developed or advanced nation," Welcome to the WA mining boom! 18 of the top 20 local government areas across Australia that experienced the largest wage and salary growth were in WA. Australia remains home to one of the world's best performing economies, with the latest data showing growth is now back to pre-financial crisis levels. If we didn't have the mineral resources then it would all come from Africa and that place is a basketcase, there would be no restrictions on the big mining company's, they would destroy everything in sight, and get away with it, corruption would be rife, then we would see what global warming was all about. | I dare say that if I had the problems that Kulaksiz, Arapkoy, and the likes have I wouldn't be too happy about it. People fortunate enough to have no problems shouldn't rub those unfortunate folks nose in it. And as for the Aussies? How's the ozone layer? |

| this is really funny now 200 years ago the poms sent their badest to the other side of the world - for the last 50 years the tides have reversed, with a massive influx of poms to our great country - i must say after they have raped and pillaged their own resources...(ie coal and did i mention trees?) now if we want to talk sporting prowess - any care to note the number of medals won by the aussies v the brits in the Commonwealth games - population australia 21 million v population great britian - 60 million and if we want to talk ozone layer - perhaps the brits can explain why they fled to cyprus - was it cos of the sun (or lack of?) in england? |

| This is my whinge I am sick to death with posts like this, and to be honest a lot of brits who trusted the " the honest builder" only to be told after spending life savings on homes to be told no its not yours because the honest builder took a mortgage out on them.etc etc. And tc homes that get a constant supply of water because new houses that were built after thiers, have had a tap inserted in the water pipes immediatly after the tc homes, and is turned off giving us whinging brits water perhaps twice a week. |

| aussiemike are you going over to NC I see you joined just before me, they talk about the trouble with property in North Cyprus, Turkey is just the same but on a larger scale, resident's permit for a year cost around 1000lira just look up Didum, or Altincum, for all the scam's, one of the main culprits is a guy named Kevin Okane he double sold property ripped people off, but he is only small fry to all the other builders, realtors and even attorneys that suck the blood out of expats. if the Turks think you have a few dollars they are your friend, until they have sucked you dry, I found this out when we went looking at property, they wouldn't leave you alone, couldn't get away from them, as soon as you left the hotel or flat somehow they seem to bump into you, god it was terrible, they kept running us around every day looking at property, in the end we left for a months holiday in Europe to have a rest, got back and told the lot of F/O hassling is a big problem in Turkey. | Sporting prowess of Australians viz Brits. Nothing to do with numbers. It is the climate. Australia has a climate which encourages many sports and building of facilities. Brits are huddled in their homes most of the year trying to keep warm. Australia should excel at the likes of athletics, cricket, swimming etc and many of the sports that have serial events with a raft of medals. They get their lights punched out in the boxing ring and are still playing catchup at fooball. Doubt they would be much at Squash if they regularly played with a yellow spot ball on courts with below freezing temperatures. |
