Advice please? Need to find good fabric/sewing material

Does any know where I can find good quality (preferably cotton) fabric for quilting? I've been to Exotic Kumas in Karaoglanolglu (too many a's and o's I think in that)..... nothing suitable.

Near the border crossing that you go over by foot. NOT Ledra palace one. The road for fabrics is called Arasta , it is very near the border crossing.

they sell elastic in town on the main shopping road go pass the bag shop on the left and the big perfume shop on the corner on the right. cross the cross roads where the jewlerys are just passed the second bank on the left theres a little wool shop at the back he sells elastic hope you find it professors wife

Toros in Lefkosa are very good for all types of fabrics plus thread, elastic etc etc. The Girne branch has a fair selection but the main shop is the best.

Can I ask a silly question - where are Toros in Lefkosa? You can tell I don't get out much Are they near the Toyota dealer on the road to Gazi Magusa?

No go on the road leading to Ledra Palace turn right at traffic lights a large Jeep dealer is on your left and Toros is about 5 mins up that road.
