ipod help please anybody

Recently had problems connecting to the store for i tunes.



when trying it say my url is missing ....ive seen some where its a common problem ,but dont know how to rectify it ,does anybody please?



i can open itunes as normal ,library still in tact but cannot connect etc

kav, I am not saying this is definately the answer to your problem but I had the same problem and I had to update my itunes to the latest version and then it could connect to the store.

You should be able to update from your itunes but if not here is a link to the apple downloads site

ive updated and still it says url missing ...infact it was the last download where the problem occured .



i thought about opening a new account but even there it says my email addy is registered to somebody else etc

The only other thing I can think of is it might be your ISP. Maybe give their helpdesk a call and see if they have blocked the itunes shop connection. Apart from that I can only suggest contacting itunes help department and explain what is happening.

Sorry for not being more enlightened, I will ask around as almost everyone I work with uses ipods of 1 type or another and see if there are any more ideas and get back to you.

kav, I have seen a couple of scripts that point towards a possible issue with the browser especially google chrome. You could try using another, I prefer firefox but would recommend safari as this is the apple one and should be the best for itunes connections. Might be worth a try

Remove i tunes then download Q Player First install. Then download i Tunes 10 install . IT CONFLICTS on some pcs should work then Good luck.
