Can you recommend the best places at present please?



I'm looking to eat out either in Kyrenia, or anywhere along the coast road going towards Karsiyaka.



Ideally, looking for places that score high on quality and low on price.



Please give a description where poss.

Charcos is the best !!

Limited but succulent meals,in a lovely setting.

For lunch try Mambo on the main road in Alsancak, (just across the road from the Alsancak Starling supermarket) 2 meals for 15TL! Offer available from 12 til 6 p.m.



Specials change every monday.

Try the Dolphin in Alsancak, in the middle of the village, main road, reasonable prices good food.

For a traditional meze with more dishes than you can count you should try Cenap in Alsancak - you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely meal at Veni Vici last evening. They have a varied menu to suit all tastes. Nadine makes the best Tiramasu, also if you like creme caramel, that's the place to go. IMHO

the spare ribs with bbq sauce are brill at the red lion Alsancak same road as deniz kizi hotel AS are thir Sunday lunches.



the 10oz rib eye steaks are also rather yummy.

the best value for money has got to be Niazies (Take away) , they do a excellent mixed kebab , the meat is marinated and you get to use the salad bar which is included in the price which is 21tl Its the one on the main road going out opf kyrenia from the local municipality building not the one near the dome hotel. Ive never seen better value for money and a better tasting meat selection anywhere else so far and Ive been to many places !!
