| Hi, probably a stupid question in TRNC, but does anybody know if, on a 3 storey apartment block, there legally needs to be a fire extingusher on every landing. I know this is probably a very good safety precaution, but is it required by any law here? |

| Hey this is the TRNC we are living in. In the 5 years l have been here l have not seen 1 in any appartment. No requirements needed. But l do have on in my home just in case. |

| I think there is such a requirement for cars but did not hear of one for the apartments. Anyway, who is goeing to pay for it. Most apartments don't have a management and most don't even have electricity for common parts because nobody is paying. Come to think of it, I had my MOT recently and the inspector advised me to get a first aid kit but he did not mention anything about the fire extinquisher. ismet |
